I went down a small rabbit hole recently reading about home office setups. I will be working from home for at least the next few weeks and wanted to see any tips to improve ergonomics and anything specificly for heart attack survivors.
Other than drooling over some fantastic and expensive setups, I did review ergonomics as related to monitors and it confirmed what I already knew.
My existing monitor setup involved sitting on a 2 shelf shoe rack which raised the monitors up to just above eye level. Normally this was nevery a problem but I did notice since the heart attack, after about an hour I was getting a headache and pain in my neck.
I have now removed that shelf so the monitors sit directly on the desk and with a bit of an adjustment, I have found a good working angle that I can sit there for quite a long time.
I think I will still look for a small 1 tier shelf as one of my monitors is not height adjustable and Iām using a book to bring it up to the right height.
Now to only convince my wife a 37ā curved monitor is needed….. š
