Life is a journey, Enjoy the trip

Random Though for August 4th 2014

100 years ago Britain (and by definition Canada) declared war against Germany. Many thought it would be a quick war but 4 years later the great war as it was known had claimed over 60,000 dead and over 170,000 wounded amongst the Canadians.  In total the war claimed over 17 million people over four years and it’s ramifications continue to this day.

Even after 100 years and a second world war and numerous other conflicts, we still wage war.

We still have much to learn.

  1. We’ve been warring since recorded history began. We’ll still be warring for centuries to come.
